Class descriptions:

CARDIO BURN

A mix of cardio, plyometric, core and strength training to challenge your muscles in different, creative ways using dumbbells, sandbags, bosu & stability balls, and Kettlebells. ALL LEVELS AND AGES!

KETTLEBELL CORE

A high-energy workout that will give you fast results for strength, endurance and muscle toning by challenging both the muscular and cardiovascular systems with dynamic, total body movements.

MORNING MIX FLOW VINYASA YOGA

Ride the wave of your breathe in this upbeat, vigorous, sweaty, playful, practice of yoga. This detox class balances strength, fluidity, balance, flexibility and a chance to experiment with more advances postures.

BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE CANDLELIGHT YOGA

For students new to yoga or needing to move more slowly. This hatha yoga class will focus on the correct positioning of basic yoga postures within one’s own body. Using props to increase the freedom and mobility of the body while concentrating on the breath. This class leave you feeling balanced, refreshed, relaxed, and centered all while enjoying a serene candlelight setting.

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED CANDLELIGHT YOGA

RESTORATIVE YOGA

This is a therapeutic, relaxing, and meditative class. Combines meditation, breathing,and relaxation exercises to leave you feeling deeply relaxed and refreshingly energized. In restorative yoga, you will experience long-held relaxed floor postures. Restorative Yoga strengthens the immune system and is a great complement to our busy, stressful, active lives.

MOMMY & ME YOGA

Kids need to move, play, stretch, and breathe to be healthy.  Kids need to know how to relax.  In this kids yoga workshop children are taught traditional yoga poses through fun and simple way.  In a non-competitive atmosphere, they learn the importance of finding balance in life.   Playing games and practicing relaxation helps kids find balance! AGES 3+

BELLY DANCE

Belly Dance has many benefits for your mind, body, and emotional state. In this class, you will learn to shimmy and vibrate your hips, snake your arms, undulate your torso, and flutter your tummy.   Whether you are belly dancing for enjoyment, toned abs, or to reduce stress it is a wonderful way to let loose, connect with others, and release your inner “you”.  This belly dance class is for all shapes, sizes, and ages.  Anyone will be able to comfortably participate and enjoy themselves.   So come shimmy into shape, have fun, and release your inner woman!

BALLET BARRE

This ballet barre class, done to classical to pop music, focuses on the fundamentals of ballet.  Emphasizing alignment and core strength we will break down the basics for beginners to allow someone who has never taken ballet before to enjoy all the benefits, while someone who has ballet experience will enjoy the full traditional barre class with a twist. Benefits include increased flexibility, long toned muscles, improvement of posture, balance, self confidence, and body awareness.  

ZUMBA

A high energy workout that combines upbeat latin and world rhythms to create a dance-based aerobic workout with easy to follow choreography. A total body workout that feels like a “fitness party”. Want to burn calories while having fun? Then Zumba is for you!

BURLESQUE BOOTY CAMP

Looking for a great cardio workout while getting your sexy on? Do you want to feel strong, sexy, and confident? How about adding shimmies, shakes, boas, and heels (optional)? This class caters to all fitness levels, sizes and shapes. EVERY WOMAN is sexy in this class. Good for dancers and non dancers alike. We will work your booty off in here(push ups, lunges ,etc.) but incorporate sexy burlesque shimmy, shakes, and dance moves as well. You won’t even realize you are working out because you will be having SO MUCH FUN!

SEXY MAT PILATES FLOW

Pilates is known to stretch, strengthen, gain flexibility and balance your body, while connecting the mind with the body. Strengthening the ‘Powerhouse’ which includes the abdomen, lower back, hips and buttocks is the biggest benefit that you will get while practicing Pilates. Veruca aka Christina ;) will add sexy flow and music to the Pilates movement for a little added twist :)

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

An overall conditioning and toning workout composed of agility, speed, power, and strength. We incorporate upper and lower body exercises into one dynamite athletic conditioning class, tracking your strength gains so you can see your progression.

TABATA TONING

Tabata interval training is one of the most effective types of high intensity interval training. Through a variety of simple, yet intense exercises, each class will blast the calories and provide noticeable results in a short amount of time. Whether your goal is muscle tone, weight loss, or both, this class will provide what you are looking for.

BARRE BOOTCAMP

Define and strengthen in this unique and challenging workout that targets your arms, abs, hips, butt, and thighs. This intense fusion of strengthening exercises and low impact cardio used to tone and work muscles to fatigue, then yoga poses to lengthen for that long, lean dancers body. Feel the burn and see the results. Created by modern dancer Lotte Berk.

GET YOUR BODY BACK

Had a baby recently or just haven’t had time to work on YOU to get your body back? This class will focus strictly on your core to help you shed the extra baby fat! This class is also great for anyone who wants to focus on their core muscles- everyone welcomed! Just going through the experience myself, I’ll be showing you all the exercises that worked for me, as well as helping you out with your diet! Have the issue of finding childcare so you can work out…..bring the babies and kids along!

YOGA BARRE

Yoga Barre is a dynamic fusion of yoga, body sculpting, barre work, and non impact cardio that will get you long and lean. The class is filled with strengthening postures at the barre that intensely work the legs and abdominals  fusing it all together with yoga postures on the mat to release and lengthen from the barre work. This class is a cardiovascular program of isometric exercises and orthopedic stretches. Yoga Barre will tone your buttocks, abdominals, thighs, and arms. It will also improve your posture and form a sculpted physique.

BABY BUMP BOOTCAMP

Feel good about working out during your pregnancy with Jessyca, who is Prenatal Certified (and pregnant herself!). The workouts are safe, effective and are designed to help with the aches and pains the joy of pregnancy brings. Light weights, body weight exercises, cardio, and more! Having just gone through the experience myself, I can’t even begin to tell you how good I felt staying active! I eliminated most aches and pains, fatigue, anxiety, and as an amazing bonus, kept my body in tact as much as possible!
